Last week Makenna was coloring her Preschool homework at the table. I was in the kitchen making dinner and I asked, "Makenna, are you doing your best job coloring?" She boldly replied, "Mom, I'm trying to do my best coloring but these stinkin' lines keep getting in my way!!!!" She cracks me up.
It seems as though the kids are always trying to "one-up" each other lately. So a few days ago when we were in the car I heard Makenna proudly tell Mason, "Mommy called me a drama queen. Ha, ha!" I guess she took it as a compliment.

Definitely a Drama Queen contender. I agree with Makenna about the "stinkin lines." We are just "outside the lines" kind of girls!
